Case Studies

Born and raised in the Hawkesbury region of New South Wales, Australia, Nic Rapa quickly made a name for himself on the international wakeboard scene. A relative newcomer to the sport, Nic dominated the junior ranks and took out two world junior titles. Progressing to the Pro Men’s ranks at the age of 19, Nic succumbed to injury with a broken leg. Intensive rehabilitation followed and Nic made a return to professional competition winning the World Championship in 2019 and 2020. With a hunger for the top step of the podium and captaincy of the Australian IWWF team to his credit, Nic is sure to leave a lasting legacy with his sponsors and within the sport of wakeboarding.

2021 will see Nic Rapa make the move back to the Northern Hemisphere for the US Pro Tour. Basing himself out of Florida, widely regarded as the holy grail of the wakeboarding community, Nic will prepare for another endless summer and aim to clinch his 3rd straight Pro Men’s World Championship.

The Supra Boats Pro Wake Tour is the longest-running professional wakeboard competition circuit in the USA.
